Nice to meet ya!
I’m so glad your here! Finding a therapist who is a good fit is probably the most important factor in making the progress you’re looking for in therapy. So here’s a little bit about my approach- I work from a holistic perspective that recognizes that mental health is influenced by many factors, especially physical health and social connection. This means we will look at movement, nutrition, sleep, current and past relationships, and the nervous system as part of your treatment. In addition to a neutral and supportive place to explore your unique experience, I care about giving people practical tools to make change.
I specialize primarily in trauma and all its impacts including nervous system dysregulation, anxious or avoidant attachment styles, emotional flashbacks, dissociation, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. I also have experience working with depression, LGBTQ+, ADHD, transitions of faith, and I’m open to exploring whatever you might be facing right now. I'll always work within your worldview and support your value system, making sure you feel safe and seen in our work together.
When not in the therapist’s chair I love riding powder (on a snowboard of course, you skiers are missing out), hitting the local mountain bike trails, traveling to new places, being creative, and taking way too many pictures of my dog Pippin. I also love nerding out about psychology research and turning what I find into practical mental health resources, which you can explore here!
